I felt confident I was getting a healthy and beautiful Bluetick Coonhound puppy once the actual breeder reached out to me after the purchase was made. They kept me in the loop with updates on how my pup was doing and coordinated his arrival through a companion flight add-on. The companion traveling with my future hunting buddy was amazing and texted me every step of the way too! You could tell they were used to handling strong, vocal breeds like the Bluetick. The puppies are in excellent health, robust and full of energy just like you'd expect from the breed. The cost is very fair for a pedigreed Bluetick Coonhound. The customer service is also good; they patiently answered all my questions about their hunting lineage and exercise needs. A very trustworthy experience.
My Bluetick Coonhound puppy arrived right to my door as promised with Chuck and Skyler. They came on the exact day and at the precise time they said they would. I'm thrilled to report he was clean and didn't have that strong "kennel" smell you sometimes get, which was a wonderful surprise. He's a beautiful, sturdy pup with a fantastic temperament. Very happy with my new hound and I sincerely hope you continue using the reliable team of Chuck and Skyler.
Everything was taken care of perfectly. Like many of you, I felt a bit suspicious about buying a puppy online. That thought has been completely erased. This entire process went down beautifully from the get-go. From the moment of purchase, all the way to delivery night (and yes, that worry was erased too) it was safe and secure. A special shout-out to Dalton & Clay, as they too made it a smooth delivery and seemed genuinely happy for us. I was kept updated from the very beginning right up to the actual meeting. They called him Duke, which was nice, but to me, this strong, handsome Bluetick Coonhound was re-named "Boone." He came to me healthy, alert, and with that proud, energetic spirit the breed is known for. I could tell he had been very well taken care of. Thank you for this experience that changed my mind about how things could be; this was a beautiful one. Most of all, thank you for my Boone.❤️
For the most part, everything was fine when we made the initial purchase. However, after that, I found the communication was lacking. It's disappointing; I wanted some basic information to prepare for my strong-witted Bluetick Coonhound. Simple details like their method for starting potty training—whether they were introduced to going outdoors or using a specific area—would have been very helpful. I never got a response to these questions. They were quick to get the money, but once that is secured, the communication could definitely be better. It would be nice to have more information from the breeders so we can best prepare for a puppy with such specific energy and training needs. That said, we just got our puppy last night, and I am very happy with her. She's a beautiful, typical Bluetick—full of energy and already showing that famous nose!
Jasper" is a perfect fit for our active family. He is incredibly loyal and already so affectionate with everyone he meets. I'm discovering the challenges of training a stubborn hound—his nose leads him everywhere, and house-training requires immense patience! But we adore him. Thank you, we love our Jasper.
We have had the best experience. The whole entire process from beginning to end was seamless. We got two boys from the same litter, and they are a wonderful handful! We love them so much already. They are incredibly loyal and have boundless energy. We were thrilled to learn the breeder had already started them on foundational potty training, which is a huge help with such an independent breed. Our house is now filled with the most wonderful (and loud!) baying, and we couldn't be happier.
